Product Details

Modified PTFE gasket Pengnuo PN1900G

The modified PTFE gasket is also called filled PTFE gasket. It is a certain amount of filler added with PTFE resin, such as glass fiber, bronze powder, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, carbon fiber, etc. It is pressed and formed by a mold, and then sintered at a high temperature to form a gasket or the like or pressed into a modified PTFE plate and then stamped or cut. Filled PTFE gaskets greatly improve the properties of PTFE by adding a certain amount of filler to the PTFE products, especially wear resistance, heat conduction, tamper resistance, self-lubrication, etc. It has a significant improvement over pure PTFE products. It is suitable for lubricating parts of corrosion resistance, heat conduction, wear resistance, oil-free lubrication, shock absorption and anti-wear in the temperature range of -180 °C ~ +250 °C.

Modified PTFE gasket performance characteristics:

The properties of the modified (filled) PTFE are closely related to the properties, content and preparation process of the filler. The filler must satisfy: (1) the filler is stable under the sintering conditions of 380-400 ° C; (2) the filler particle size is <150 μm;="" (3)="" the="" filler="" does="" not="" absorb="" moisture;="" (4)="" under="" the="" sintering="" condition,="" the="" filler="" itself="" will="" not="" cluster;="" (5)="" the="" filler="" does="" not="" react="" with=""> ?

Common fillers: graphite, molybdenum disulfide, ceramic particles/fibers, carbon fiber (CF), glass beads and glass fiber (GF), quartz, barium sulfate, etc.

1. Improve cold flow resistance and creep resistance: filling graphite, glass beads and glass fiber (GF, polyphenylene sulfide)

2. Improve lubricity: fill MoS2,

3. Improve thermal conductivity: filled with bronze powder, molybdenum, nickel, etc., carbon fiber

4. Improve wear resistance: filled glass beads and glass fiber (GF), polyimide, polyphenyl ester

5. Improve stability and reduce deformation: carbon fiber, polyphenylene sulfide

Modified PTFE gaskets used in the industry: chemical, petrochemical, refining, chlor-alkali, acid, phosphate, pharmaceutical, pesticide, chemical fiber, dyeing, coking, gas, organic synthesis, non-ferrous smelting, steel, atomic energy and high-purity products ( Such as ion-exchange membrane electrolysis), the transportation and operation of viscous materials, and the processing and production departments of food and beverages with strict requirements for hygiene.

Use equipment: sealing parts of flange joints such as pipes, valves, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, condensers, generators, air compressors, exhaust pipes, refrigerators, etc.
